FOUR CENTRALIA SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARDMEMBERS RALLY AROUND JOE KERR FOR SUPERVISOR

Brea, CA – Four of the five Boardmembers of the Centralia Elementary School District, which serves students in portions of Anaheim, Buena Park, Cypress, and La Palma, announced their endorsements of Joe Kerr today. Elizabeth Gonzales, Art Montez, Steve Harris, and Connor Traut join a growing list of local elected leaders who are backing Kerr’s campaign for Orange County’s 4thSupervisorial District.

“I am supporting Joe Kerr for Supervisor because he’s a strong advocate for safe neighborhoods, good public schools, and expanded opportunities for our kids,” said Boardmember Elizabeth Gonzales. “Joe understands the importance of building stronger partnerships between county government and our neighborhood schools, and I trust him to serve as the accessible and responsive advocate we deserve on the Board of Supervisors.”

Brea, CA – Anaheim Union High School District Boardmember Al Jabbar announced his endorsement of Joe Kerr’s campaign for Orange County Supervisor today. Jabbar joins Congressman Lou Correa, State Assemblymember Tom Daly, and former Anaheim Councilmember Lorri Galloway in announcing their support for Kerr in recent weeks.

“Orange County needs more leaders like Joe Kerr, who are committed to finding long term solutions to the problems we face,” said Jabbar. “Joe will bring new energy and a spirit of innovation to county government! Orange County Firefighters Endorse Joe Kerr for Supervisor

Brea, CA – The Orange County Professional Firefighters announced their endorsement of Joe Kerr’s campaign for supervisor today. Support from the firefighters represents one of the most sought after endorsements in Orange County politics. Kerr served as the President of the Orange County Professional Firefighters between 1995 and 2012.

In announcing the endorsement, Orange County Professional Firefighters Association PAC Chairman Todd Baldridge stated:
“As the President of our organization, Joe Kerr fought to keep neighborhoods safe and make local government more transparent. We are excited to announce our endorsement of his campaign because we know that he will make an excellent supervisor - one who is responsive, independent, and laser-focused on protecting Orange County’s quality of life. Former Anaheim Councilmember Lorri Galloway Backs Joe Kerr for Supervisor

Brea, CA – Former Anaheim City Councilmember Lorri Galloway announced her endorsement of Joe Kerr’s campaign for Orange County Supervisor today. Galloway joins a growing list of local leaders rallying around Kerr, which already includes Congressman Lou Correa and State Assemblymember Tom Daly.

“Joe Kerr is an effective problem solver who will bring new energy and new ideas to county government,” said Galloway. “Joe’s experiences, as both a fire captain and an advocate for first responders, will serve him well on the board. I am excited to announce my endorsement of his campaign.”

Building Trades Begin to Coalesce Around Joe Kerr for Supervisor

Brea, CA – Joe Kerr’s campaign for Orange County Supervisor announced endorsements from three local building trades unions today. The list of supportive organizations includes the Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters, Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA) Local 652, and UA Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 582.

“We are standing with Joe Kerr because our members trust him to fight for quality jobs for north Orange County residents and a fair playing field for working families,” said Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters Business Agent Rich Gomez who works out of the Buena Park Training Center. “As a firefighter and fire captain, Joe is a tough and tested leader who will always put the interests of middle class families first.”
